Some people discover the coast later in life. I grew up with it.
I spent part of my childhood in Panama and nearly every college break on the island of Curaçao visiting my parents. The ocean was never a vacation. It was home. That's what shaped my love for coastal and island travel. And no matter how many I visit, I'm still surprised by how different each one feels. Every island has its own rhythm, its own culture, its own story.
But somewhere along the way, travel started feeling harder than it should. Hours of research. Endless tabs open. Restaurants that looked nothing like the photos. "Hidden gems" that are packed with crowds. Entire itineraries built around advice from people who had never experienced the destination themselves.
At some point, I stopped relying on generic travel guides and started building the kind of resource I wished existed. These aren't exhaustive lists. Each guide is intentionally curated; focused on the best experiences, sites, and restaurants that are worth your time.
That became Coastal Edit Co.
Every guide here is built from firsthand experience and designed to help you travel with clarity instead of guesswork, from where to stay and what's worth your time, to the details nobody tells you until it's too late. No overly curated fantasy. No copy-and-paste recommendations. Just reliable, thoughtful guidance designed to help you arrive feeling prepared, confident, and excited for what's ahead.
